London Bike Show and the Outdoor Adventure and Camping Show

We had a quick walk around the London Bike Show and the Outdoor Adventure and Camping Show at London’s ExCel.

One of our clients, The Army, were exhibiting at the Outdoor Adventure and Camping Show. They had a fun, engaging, interactive stand that invited visitors to test their mental agility by completing a ‘cross the river’ game, using planks of wood and stepping stones. You could also compete in a Batak challenge, a game specifically designed to improve reaction, hand eye co-ordination and stamina. There was also a ‘Dragon Runner’ a lightweight, back-packable, multi-terrain robot capable of detecting a variety of devices without putting the operator in harm’s way, which helps bomb disposal experts find and deactivate improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Over in the London Bike Show, we spotted Olympian Sir Chris Hoy, who opened the event.

There were some really cool exhibition stands, including bikes presented like artworks within a glass box with illuminated frame; and a row of wooden shipment containers, with spray painted logo, each containing a bike.

Here are some photos...
